Guide to editing info for each of your member benefits

You are here:

As a member of UBC you have access to a growing number of marketing platforms and benefits.

Many of the benefits have their own information settings that you can control.

Here is a short guideline on each one:

CORE MEMBERSHIP ACCOUNT INFO

Core membership account info means the original info you used to register, which is not displayed to the public unless you allow that on various profiles.

This is the data that all your membership benefits are linked to.

In the core settings page you can change your name, email address and password.  You can also delete your account permanently.

Click Here to visit your core Member Account Settings page now.

PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS PROFILE PAGE

Listing your business cards and business profile on our Professional Members Directory is one of the free benefits available to our members from UBC Bronze membership level upwards.

This is a separate benefit product with it’s own data that you control. When you visit this section, you will see that your core membership data is already populated on this page with extra fields for you to complete.  Once completed and approved, your profile is displayed on our Professional Members Directory.

Click Here to edit your PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS PROFILE Page.

MEMBER SHOP SETTINGS

The member shop is a separate product module. You can set up the data in the shop so that orders / invoices generated when you place an order, displays the information you need to have on your invoices from your suppliers (UBC is your supplier in this case.)  You can enter the business name and address etc that you need to have on your invoice for tax purposes.

Click Here to visit your Member Shop Dashboard.

Click “Addresses” link on this Shop Dashboard to setup the data you want to appear on your invoices.

MEMBER NEWSLETTER SETTINGS

When you register as a member, you are automatically on our database to receive our Members Newsletter and other system notices. This is compulsory as a member.

However, you can add further email addresses to also receive copies of the Members Newsletter.

Once we develop further subscription options, you can also control which ones you do and don’t wish to be subscribed to. e.g. Advertising bulletins.

Click Here to edit your MEMBER NEWSLETTER subscriptions; only necessary if you wish to add a completely different email address to the members newsletter database.
